Jay Helland

Vice President of Technical Operations
Jay began his career in aviation working his way up at a globally recognized aircraft service. From there he transitioned to a startup jet operator company, first supervising maintenance control and then as a maintenance manager, helping the company grow from 3 aircraft to well over 100 aircraft in a few years. During his time spent there his skills were also entrusted to run the flight operations side of the business, and then overseeing the entire maintenance facility. As Jay further honed his maintenance management skills, he moved on to working for a worldwide MRO as Director of Airframe and Avionics. As his leadership talent progressed, he was recruited by another large MRO to become the General Manager/ VP of Maintenance. In 2022 Jay landed at Million Air Dallas as the VP of Technical Operations bringing his decades of maintenance and management knowledge to re-envision maintenance programming and maintenance management, adding new talent to the team, and new services to better serve our clients.

Jeff Ivy

Director of Compliance
Jeff brings over 50 years of aviation experience to the Million Air Dallas Technical Operations department. Jeff began his aviation career in the US Air Force as a jet engine technician. From there, Jeff joined the US Navy and was a member of the Blue Angels Maintenance Crew and a quality assurance factory representative on various programs, such as the F-15, FA18, and AV8B. After retiring from his 22-year military career, Jeff has held many positions in corporate jet aviation maintenance and is now utilizing his expertise as our Director of Compliance overseeing our FAA Principal Inspector relationship as well as installing processes for seamless growth and efficiencies for Million Air Dallas.
